Define the Area
The geographic boundaries for members of the Midtown Merchants Association
include Lake Ella to the north, Brevard Street on the south, Duval Street on
the west, and Magnolia on the east. Within this broadly defined area
--Tallahassee
Memorial Hospital, Betton Hills, Old Town, Lafayette Park -- regardless of
destination-- downtown, south or north of town, you will
pass
through midtown. Stop, park, and visit our shops, restaurants, professional

Our Goals
- Petition local Governments for contributions for projects to improve sidewalks, install special pedestrian friendly street lighting, benches, trash receptacles, and to create welcome signs at each gateway to Midtown.
- Promote area beautification, increase biking and walking traffic, add bicycle racks in strategic locations, provide cobblestone or brick crosswalks.
- Create and market a major annual event, attracting more visitors to Midtown.
- Provide within Midtown a Cultural Resource Center with rehearsal space and offices.
- Raise awareness of Midtown Tallahassee as a destination.
